8th december
todae i woke up uber late. chiong cab down with parents cus sis needed to get her jab done. then reached there early..got a little more ppl than yesterday. then roster was done, the ususal la..
went to AMK hub with wei wen, jia ming and alphasus(dunno how to spell =P)..wen and i were the first ones there. then we went to the wrong place. suppose to go collection point, we went to the wish tree..haha.then we set up the correct table near the box. then we were hungry. so i let wen go buy his food first. then my turn. like that saying goes "do what you want,just dont get caught"[cus we were not allowed to buy food other than meal times.] then we started our collection..
the first donar came with a troley of oil and a trolley of rice. generous right?
the next donar came with bags of rice.10 kg ones. 1 trolley full.
then the next donar was the best. 30 bags of 10 kg rice.whats generosity man..
the the thing was filled.and i hate ntuc. jsut one bloody trolley take half an hour.its just a roller cage and i mean come on.sigh.the pplt here need to learn how to prioritize man.
then when things were abt to get bad, the officer and 2 boys came to fetch the goods. jsut nice.
then hte wish tree side.sigh.nth to say.they screwed up the procedures, and were lost.had to go there a few times to help them..then stayed there to help them..
lunch time.i ate what i ate when i bought my psp. the jap rice with unagi, yakatori, and pork belly. diner was that too =)
one of the perky moments. there was this uncle who put in 40c then asked in chinese. this one scouts or bb?when i said bb, then he put in the remaining 60 c. haha
then i also found out that little kids like to put money into the coin boxes=)
the shock of my life came when i found out that there were 3 bags of rice that were infested with weavils.close to 1/4 of the bag. brought to the customer service, but they said they cant do anyhting since it was a donation.called hq.they still wanted it. so had to seal it up then send.if i eva find out who that is.he'll get it.we are not some dumping ground you know.
the movers that came were nice ppl..=)the helping hands, as they call themselves
then after all was done, there were ppl who donated some other stuff after they collected the stuff.called hq.they said put in roller cage, put in store.ask the staff, she come TL and KL me say that the store very messy then might get lost.told her that my hq said it was ok.she even asked"my hq or your hq?called hq.they still said ok.passed the phone to her.knowing she was losing, she gave hte excuse that the phone was too soft.sigh.t hen brought it to the store. another day as a security guard done =D
then i called mom earlier and they were at the dou jiang you tiao at geylang..they ask me take cab down.then i finished everything then go take cab.when i reached topside, the queue was longer than the great wall of china. decided to move up the road with wen and alphaeus. got a cab. went to meet 2nd e jiong and parents..had food there. mmmmmmmmm. =)
after that, 2ns e jiong brought us to the CBD of geylang. i tell you.some pros are so old, i wonder if they can take it.some are so young, man.they would be nice if they went pros. sigh. then we went to joo chiat to see the viet version of geylang, albeit a much scaled down version.then he sent us home. another day done =D
